1960 one of the seven founding members of the Metabolist group together with the architects Kikutake Kiyonori, Maki Fumuhiko, Otaka Masato, the critic Kawazoe Noboru, the industrial designer Ekuan Kenji and the graphic designer Awazu Kiyoshi
1964 completed Doctor course, University of Tokyo
2007 passed away in Tokyo
