Czech architect and designer.

1949 June 14 born in Prague, Czechoslovakia
1964-68 studied furniture design at the School of Arts and Crafts in Prague
1968 moved to Germany
1969-74 studied architecture at the University of Applied Arts in Hamburg
1973 started study of philosophy at the Technical University in Stuttgart
1977-79 Scientific Assistant at the Institute for Industrial Design at the University of Hannover
1979 Doctorate Degree in architecture at the Technical University of Delft
1979-83 Lector of design-theory at the University of Essen
1983 moved to the Netherlands and opened Architecture & Design Studio in Amsterdam
1990-98 appointed as Professor of architecture at the Prague Academy of Applied Arts
1990-2003 Court Architect of the Prague Castle named by Václav Havel, president of former Czechoslovakia, later Czech Republic
1998 Appointed as Professor of design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Austria
2005-12 Appointed as Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at the Technical University in Liberec, Czech Republic
2016 February 13 passed away aged 66 in Prague, Czech Republic.
